This law states that all energy is in a state of transmission and transmutation. All that means is that energy constantly changes forms. The important thing to understand is that energy is never created or destroyed. Energy IS. (Think of energy as having the same qualities that we assign to spirit.)
A good way to think of this transmutation of energy is the water cycle. There is always the same amount of water on the planet, but it changes form constantly. Water can change to ice, and ice can melt into water. Heat it some more, and it becomes vapor (or a cloud). Cool it down, and it becomes water (rain) again. It is constantly changing form, but it is always here.
So what does this have to do with our thoughts? Our thoughts are nonphysical energy. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation decrees that energy (the nonphysical level of life) is always moving into physical form.
Remember; energy can never be created or destroyed. It just IS. And energy is constantly changing form. Our thoughts (which are nonphysical) constantly move into physical form.
So, any idea or image that is held in the mind and properly nourished must move into its physical counterpart because of the emotions (feelings through the Law of Vibration) expressed through the body, and the body moves into action, which produces the results.
Thoughts form ideas, and ideas cause feelings, feelings cause actions, and actions cause results. This is the creative process.
Think about the first chair. Someone came up with the thought that it would feel better to sit on something rather than on the ground. Maybe with their feet and back supported. Thoughts came together to form ideas. Ideas caused the inventor to get excited about the prospect of more comfort, and they became emotionally involved with the idea. This caused their body to act in such a way as to figure out how to produce the chair, which actually created the chair.
Thoughts become things. And the Law of Perpetual Transmutation is key to this. This is the creative process. This is how all things get their start and come into physical form.
So, think back on something that you had an idea about, got excited about, and then made it happen.
What is something else you would like to create?
This creative process is how we create our days and, ultimately, our lives. What do you want to create?
To Your Best Life,
Mary
